Documents reviewed by RealClearInvestigations and interviews show that his school district in Florida’s Broward County was in the vanguard of a strategy, adopted by more than 50 other major school districts nationwide, allowing thousands of troubled, often violent, students to commit crimes without legal consequence. The aim was slowing the "school-to-prison pipeline"

And yet somehow it's the NRA's fault. Liberals, you have these kid's blood on your hands.
Hmmm..Didn't Trayvon Martin go to school in that County? Didn't school administrators find a bunch of stolen Jewelry in his locker? Didn't the School change their minds and call it "Found" property instead of "Stolen" property so little Tayvon wouldn't get arrested? Is this the same policy that Cruz benefitted from?

No, he did not. I believe Trayvon Martin went to HS in Miami-Dade County.

Do a little research, one could still purchase an AR during that period.

Well, how did Obama's/Holder's plan of keeping teen law violators out of prison by keeping them out of the law enforcement and justice systems work out for the 17 dead? No criminal record = passed background check.

This is what the Promise Program was based on, and why both the Broward Sheriff's Dept and the school district were getting extra Federal grants for not disciplining students and for keeping them out of the justice system:

The same school/law enforcement policies, correct.

The only thing you Trumpees fail to blame Obama for is the Kardashians not being renewed for another season !

Maybe you should be expending your energy on what your boy will do now that he is in that seat. I know he is "talking" tough right now, but let's see how it goes a few weeks or months from now.
