Do you really have to go further than Rick Perry being in charge of Nuclear Weapons? Former heads of Energy Dept. were the top scientists and physicist in the USA. Perry wanted to abolish that dept. and he didn't even know what it did.

Let's be honest: ALL departments are suffering from diminished expertise under Trump. Horrendous cronyism. We remember he'd hired a truck driver and a cabana boy for Agriculture:

This malaise predates Trump.
Sure, a lot of truth in that.
But if our grade was a solid D before, it's a F now. The State Dept. isn't about wars...it's supposed to be about representing the "shining city on the hill" on a worldwide basis.
