So you wanted them to vote to give the enemy the date that we will withdrawal? What strategic sense would that make? That would just be stupid!!

Goes more to the veracity of reports based on "the last time you checked" that there was little difference between Republicans and Democrats re voting to continue the war.

No, you changed the argument (again)..

Setting a date is not the argument here because you cant set a date until you've actually set the ground rules on a withdrawal, what one considers "success" and neither of those have been set.

Lets try again

Shows the republicans are the only ones with any common sense.

Gibberish. The point that you want to run away from (again) is your claim of little difference between the parties on voting to continue the war.

Its convenient for you to ignore the Democrats that voted for the war, and then continue to fund the war. (I even posted the votes) If it helps you sleep at night..

Yes, everything they've done has worked out so well. The economy is fine, the budget is in balance, our people are healthy and prosperous, our military is in tip-top shape, able to respond to any challenge anywhere around the world, we enjoy unprecedented levels of admiration and respect within the international community...it's hard to imagine things being any peachy-keener than this...

The economy has been falling for the last year.. lets think about what changes have taken place over the last year.. Oohh, right.. Democrats took control of Congress and they have done NOTHING!! Normally their incompetence would make me thrilled, but for gods sake, can they even appear to be doing something? Anything?

correction: I forgot, they did raise the price of gasoline, and send out checks to people to "spur" the economy which added to the national debt and lowered the value of a dollar.. Not exactly NOTHING, but nothing positive.
