Would that poor decision making be anything like the Democrats voting yes to go to war, and yes to continue it? Last I checked there was little difference between the Democrats and Republicans on the vote.
As if Bush and the Republicans do not OWN this fiasco. Such quavering!
Iraq Withdrawal Deadline 2007...
Total Senate votes for: 51
Total Republican Senate votes for: 2
Total House votes for: 218
Total Republican House votes for: 2
Goes more to the veracity of reports based on "the last time you checked" that there was little difference between Republicans and Democrats re voting to continue the war.

No, you changed the argument (again)..
Setting a date is not the argument here because you cant set a date until you've actually set the ground rules on a withdrawal, what one considers "success" and neither of those have been set.
Lets try again

Gibberish. The point that you want to run away from (again) is your claim of little difference between the parties on voting to continue the war.

Doesn't Bush wish he could say that.
Its convenient for you to ignore the Democrats that voted for the war, and then continue to fund the war. (I even posted the votes) If it helps you sleep at night..
Shows the republicans are the only ones with any common sense.
Yes, everything they've done has worked out so well. The economy is fine, the budget is in balance, our people are healthy and prosperous, our military is in tip-top shape, able to respond to any challenge anywhere around the world, we enjoy unprecedented levels of admiration and respect within the international community...it's hard to imagine things being any peachy-keener than this...

The economy has been falling for the last year.. lets think about what changes have taken place over the last year.. Oohh, right.. Democrats took control of Congress and they have done NOTHING!! Normally their incompetence would make me thrilled, but for gods sake, can they even appear to be doing something? Anything?
correction: I forgot, they did raise the price of gasoline, and send out checks to people to "spur" the economy which added to the national debt and lowered the value of a dollar.. Not exactly NOTHING, but nothing positive.
. . . . Last I checked there was little difference between the Democrats and Republicans on the vote.
There is a clear difference on the surrender vote
