No. Try, I don't conflate and falsely equate millions of others to the one individual that voluntarily broke the law, drove drunk, and killed 4.
Millions of others can consume alcohol responsibly. Why infringe on others and punish them for what this scumbag did? What would it achieve?

Declare nobody needs more than 1 12 ounce can/bottle of beer?
Attack 2 industries worth billions, that employ thousands in an attempt to put them out of business because boofreakinghoo woe is me?
Stay bitter show up to every funeral to promote my agenda and make it about me and my loss and garner support to propose restrictive measures to curtail the automotive and alcohol industry? No.

If you have the desire, go buy an 18 pack, a handle, what ever, I dont care, go home or to a party get hammered. I don't care. I only ask you don't get behind the wheel. Have a ride or pack a tent and sleep it off. I don't care the reason you bought it, whether to celebrate, to self medicate etc.

Same outlook applies to firearms.
If you have the desire to own any firearm you want, go buy it I don't care.
I only ask that you don't go waving it around irresponsibly, shooting others, shooting game that isn't in season, or use it in other forms of criminal enterprise.
I don't care the reason you bought it.

1.) I didn't.
2.) My last sentence that you quoted from me.

I'm not sure why some folks can't understand that better gun control clearly means enforcing regulations currently on the books.
That isn't what you said...

You want more regulations, on top of current regulations, yet, broward struck a deal to circumvent criminal charges on highschool students in a good feels approach that if reported, this scumbag wouldn't have been able to legally aquire the weapon he used...

Harvard graduate with close ties to President Obama and his Education Department – signed an agreement with the county sheriff and other local jurisdictions to trade cops for counseling. Students charged with various misdemeanors, including assault, would now be disciplined through participation in “healing circles,” obstacle courses and other “self-esteem building” exercises.

“We’re not going to continue to arrest our kids,” he added.
“Once you have an arrest record, it becomes difficult to get scholarships, get a job, or go into the military."

Yeah you know what else is difficult to get with an arrest record?
FIREARMS.

Heart disease, in large part, is a decision one makes by living unhealthily. Heart disease is also something that just comes with aging.

Getting shot is done TO you. You could make the argument that guns prevent heart disease..... but that is false logic.

I am for tougher gun measures, not banning them.

How comforting that must be to the parents of the latest school massacre. I guess it was just their unlucky day.

When your heart disease kills 40 other people you might have something. Until then, it's a false equivalence put forward by people that can't think rationally.

Your gun won’t protect you from the Top Ten causes of death. So why not get rid of your guns?

I have an even better debate!

Since we are all going to die anyway, it doesn't matter if thousands die by the gun!

Brilliant.
