I saw them talking about this story on the local news here in L.A
The anchors were saying how it was so sad and hard to watch .
She was arrested in front of her kids but where else where they supposed to arrest her?
If you are in a country illegally one should realize there is a risk to that . If you have kids that should be more of a reason not to live in a country illegally as your are bringing more risk to your family .
I’m tired of the “breaking up families thing. Americans commit crimes and get separated from family all the time . What should we do ? Just never arrest anyone that has kids?
Maybe more will self deport and get to take their crap with them, instead of the shirt on their back.
Set a few million examples and the other 22 million may get the hint.
So she’s here illegally, allegedly involved in smuggling, refused to surrender and resisted arrest. And CBP are the bad guys. Sometimes I think we’re living in a parallel universe.
CBP did the right thing. If you don’t want to get arrested in front of your children, don’t commit a crime. It’s not rocket science.
You need to learn how to read. It said she DID NOT resist or give them any problems.
"She was not fighting against them. She was not threatening their lives. In no moment, did she make them feel threatened for them to drag her the way that they did and then leave her daughters there," Castro said.
When I read a story like this one, I realize we humans are a horrible species. Now I see how people stood by and saw Jews shoved into gas chambers.
That's just part of a smear campaign that ICE uses when a deportation looks so UGLY as this one did. There was NO arrest for anything like human smuggling.
It was a terribly sad video to watch and I saw many conservatives sharing it in Facebook wondering if we cannot do better than that.
They tried to get her to surrender and she refused. Then she resisted arrest. It’s her own fault, especially when she shouldn’t have been here in the first place. Breaking the law is seldom pretty and clean.
If ICE has information on an illegal alien's activities but no proof, how can they charge her with anything? Not everything is cut and dry.
And I'm lmao at the dreamers in the thread who think ICE created some fairytale about this woman. If she's here illegally, that's really all they need to know.
