The Harvard employees who hired her said that was not true.
After having recruited Warren on the basis of her purported Native American ancestry, publicizing the fact for several years, then having found out that they were taken in by a thoroughgoing fraud perpetrated by the selfsame Warren, the Harvard talking heads were forced to manufacture an alternative explanation, pathetically transparent though it was.
Nobody familiar with the events as they actually transpired could have been taken in by Harvard's charade, of course. Or Warren's, for that matter.
Intetesting... I just posted a quote directly from a 1996 issue of the Harvard Crimson that explicitly refers to Warren as "Native American."
How would Harvard know that unless she was specifically listed as "Native American" in her faculty file?
That was a statement from the Harvard selection committee in 1995 when they hired her to a tenured position, she did not use here minority status to gain admission and she had tremendous qualifications. She didn't hide the fact that she was a minority so yes it would appear in a publication.
I don't know why every statement by he needs to digress into a discussion on her lineage, she just agreed with Trump on tariffs and its back to the same old dead argument rather than a discussion of substance.

Harvard "thought" they hired a Native American, and subsequently bragged about it. The only way Harvard would know Warren was "supposedly" Native American would be from looking at her employment file. Looking at her physical appearance, she's a White, blond-haired, blue-eyed person, obviously NOT "Native American" other than what's asserted (without any proof whatsoever) on her employment records.
Warren is the Rachel Dolezal of Penn, Harvard, and Massachusetts. Congrats. /SMH
I don't like Warren and I live in Mass. If you have ever heard her speak off the cuff you would question her intelligence.
I don't see anything wrong with her claiming that she has some Native American heritage and it is a neat family story for her but I do have a problem that she checked the box at Harvard and took a job away from a real minority.
I also have a problem with her hypocrisy. She called out Trump for buying foreclosed properties at low prices during the recession but she was doing the same only not at the same scale as a multi millionaire like Trump was.
Warren doens't need a DNA test since there is a growing public that is recognizing her as a phony that doesn't do much beyond complaining. I think she is going to have a tough time in November being reelected.

Harvard went on record saying her ethnic background was not considered in her hiring smh
Whether or not Warren is part native American is not a big deal to me. But since I'm nosy by nature I would like to see the results of a DNA test just to satisfy my curiosity. I'm even more curious as to what's in Trump's tax returns.
That was many years AFTER they bragged in the Harvard Crimson about Warren being Native American, and their first law faculty "woman of color."
"Woman of color?" LOOK at her. She's friggin' lily-white.
But she has high cheek bones.
