Schumer and the Democrats are holding up these appointments, and according to Republicans, at this slow rate of confirmations, it would take 11 years to fill these vacant posts.
No, no and no. No matter how many times you post this, 90% of the vacancies have nothing to do with Dems.

Always interesting to hear Rush's take on Trump. He said today that Trump is just hitting his stride, he's more confident and doesn't need a lot of strategists, doesn't rely on advisors as much as previous presidents. He made earlier choices that non-Trump people wanted. The CEO of Exxon is not someone to take orders and Tillerson thought he was in charge of foreign policy, not Trump.
So it isn't the media narrative of chaos, it's the opposite. Trump is putting in pepole HE likes and who understand how he works. It's a positive, according to El Rushbo.
My thought is that Tillerson wasn't getting results in North Korea and Trump just called his BFF in China to get the job done.
Sure you can blame Trump, but Tillerson was SoS, it's HIS job to recruit and hire. Tillerson had his chance and obviously he didn't impress. Besides it's normal duties, State needs a serious housecleaning. All you have to is look at their behavior covering for Hillary. Tillerson wasn't taking care of that either.
Now with North Korea talks on the table, Trump needed someone he could trust and rely on.
Remember when the left hated Comey until Trump fired his conniving azz...that's all that's going on here.
