What is this discussion about 'sitting down' with Mueller???

Serve him with a big ole subpoena and let him testify before the grand jury!

Are you so are gullible that you believe this is true because Trump said it? Like he would even know if it's true or not. Like Trump would even bother to try and find out. Like you can prove if it is true of just something you heard.

If he doesn't agree to talk, he will be subpoenaed to testify before the Grand Jury without his attorney. If he tells the truth, he will incriminate himself. If he lies, he will perjure himself. Frying pans and fires and all that sort of thing.

If you don't like the source, try these on. There are gracious plenty more where these came from:

Get a grip, as it is not the source, but a reality check.

According to leftist who have TDS, even if Trump is guilty of obstruction regarding a made up fictitious story about him, he should be convicted. The word entrapment would not even cross your minds, despite your fererant defense of bill Clinton back in the day.
Of course if someone from your team was not guilty, but convicted or lying to try to cover their own behind for political reasons, that is ok.

You hypocrites cannot have it both ways.
Furthermore, we know if a (D) got themselves in the same type of trap, you'd be screaming entrapment or the like.

I never defended Bill Clinton, number one. I have no use for anyone who would cheat on their spouse.

If Trump is as guiltless as he says he is, he should have no problems convincing everyone of that. The questions that Mueller wants to speak with Donnie about should be softball to answer if he is innocent. If he is guilty, let him swing. Ditto Hillary, or anyone else who is a traitor to the country. Mueller is not partisan. He was not partisan when he investigated Enron, he was not partisan when he investigated John Gotti and the Gambino family, and he is not partisan investigating Trump. He is highly respected on both sides of the aisle.

He also knows where to look to find criminal activity if there was any, having prosecuted RICO violations and the Mafia. Maybe that is what is making you so nervous. Try to get a grip.

For the love of Pete, the Special Counsel investigation is not about Trump.

The investigation is about Russians conspiring to influence our elections and all those who assisted in this endeavor.

If Trump was not involved, then he's home free on the conspiring business.

Also, you do not have to be guilty of the crime to get charged and convicted of obstruction of justice.

Say your cousin shot your aunt. You had nothing to do with the murder, but you lie to the investigators/court, telling them your cousin was with you the whole night.

Or you hide your cousin's gun and lie to the investigators/court.

If your lies are exposed, you could be charged and quite possibly convicted for obstruction of justice.

The investigation parameters allow Mueller to pursue any crimes discovered, not just Russian influence.

Also, your cousin doesn't get to walk on a murder charge because other people have murdered too.

That's not how it works.
