So we need to continue to allow the proliferation of guns because we might at one point have a leader like Pol Pot or Mao Zedong and the militia will come to our rescue. Comparing China and Cambodia from decades ago to the US makes your case for no changes in gun laws, seriously.
Think. Learn. These terroristic leaders controlled their countries armies and militias then used them to execute millions. It can happen in any country across this world. The threat comes not only from the outside but also from within. Our countries Founding Fathers understood this. You'd do well to learn the same lesson.

The gun was is only a tool. A kid with a couple of bombs could have inflicted just as much carnage. Your focus should be on the human factor not the tool or you'll never stop this.
