Makes me sick to think that we are going to sell them out again.
Sounds familiar. If we pull out of South Vietnam, the North Vietnamese will obliterate them. Fast forward 40 years and 50,000 lives and I am buying made in Vietnam shirts at Macys. I am sure they would have sold us shirts without a war.

You are pushing total BS and propaganda!

Assad protected the Christians and offered relative rights to Kurds except the Kurds trying to secede - what country doesn't squash secession attempts? The Kurds admit that they would be worse off if Assad is toppled. Even Obama admitted that Assad protected Christians and others.

Assad is even accused of arming Kurds in Syria and in other areas.

It is the US, via Obama and Hillary, that were arming ISIS and other moderate rebels. What do you think ISIS does with the Kurds?

Obama was a massive threat to the Kurds by dropping free weapons all over the most unstable region on earth - to Muslims who want to kill Kurds. It was a dictator like Assad that offered some form of religious and ethnic freedom - certainly not whoever would take hold after his undoing.

Now we are supposedly abandoning the Kurds if we don't keep our intervention that Obama started...which mostly amounts to arming terrorists that want to kill Kurds...and us... Unreal.

It looks now to be the wrong call but everyone and I mean everyone thought Saddam had his weapons of mass destruction which he easily could have sold or given to terrorists

We were not in Syria prior to Trump, we were bombing it, Trump put boots in the ground.

Remember this?

Dictators usually don't like consultations !
He might have consulted Putin, and if he did, then this makes sense. Putin wants Syria for himself.

There is no upside whatsoever be in there.
We had no interests in either places. We were lied to. Being that it's been 16 years and we have accomplished nothing should have made that obvious by now.

Should we have went after OBL? Sure, but even at that, he did nothing we would have not done ourselves. OBL quickly left Afghanistan but 16 years later, we are still there. We didn't attack Pakistan even though we knew that is where OBL was.
