The new AGA can redefine the scope of the investigation going forward. Like I said in my previous post Trump should have done this early on. Its almost too late at this point.

Yep, that ship sailed especially with the FBI raid on Cohen. That was about the worst thing that could happen for Trump in this investigation and you can't put the genie back in that bottle. The variable here is the public mood on these topics. Granted polling isn't perfect but it can pick up trends and this last poll showing support for Mueller could be suggesting that the American public is siding with law and order over Trump's antics. That trend is within the realm of common sense. The political price for any changes Trump makes may be getting exponentially bigger.

Perhaps, in your opinion. For those who study history and politics, the opinion is quite different.

Oh and the GOP stole that Supreme Court pick from Obama.

That alone the GOP should be voted out of Congress and the Senate.

I wouldn't mind considering a Democrat, but they are running so far to the left that it's impossible to vote for them.

I always try to vote the candidate. My family had strong associations with the Republicans long ago in the past, including an uncle who ran for congress. In my area Democrats minor players but are acceptable to me in every respect except they are generally pro-abortion, or silent on the matter. That used to count big with me as I believe abortion is murder.

However nowadays most Republicans don't really care about that issue ... they really don't, not in my state anyway. They talk a game but when their daughters are 'in trouble' it's off to the clinic they go, hush - hush. I suppose further south it could be different, but I doubt it.

The Republicans here are still big supporters of the party, and the party is denying climate science, which is an issue dear to me. Most Republicans here know that their party's (Koch Brothers) position is hogwash, but they are with it for the economics, not the science.

I refuse to vote for any politician who denies the climate science and tries to pretend we don't have a problem that needs addressing. This last cycle was the first I can remember wherein there was not even one Republican I could vote for in my ballot. Then we got that criminal Trump and his shenanigans, I am completely disassociated from that party now. I can't see how I could support them any longer, it is embittering.

I don't agree with some of the above, but I can tell you that we need candidates in both parties who aren't in lockstep with leadership. That's the only way to normalize politics.
