I really enjoyed reading this. The writer's opening description of Ryan, as a zombie-eyed, granny-starver, is quite accurate. He did his best to usher America into an age of high-privilege for the 1%, that could not be revoked, but failed miserably.
He strikes me as being the nether-world, opposite version of Jack Kennedy, always plotting for the downfall of those who are already impoverished, instead of helping them gain improved lives. He is the Grinch of American politics. There really isn't anything left for him to do, but revel in his personal wealth and hope that eventually public opinion of him will soften. It won't. I'm expecting to see Paul Ryan Halloween masks and costumes appear this fall, along with those of other figures from horror movies.
As President Kennedy once said “the time to repair the roof is when the sun is shining.” Instead, we are punching more holes in the fiscal roof. You are doing a heck of a job Ryan.....
So was hitler. In fact many truly evil people fall into that category. Being successful shouldn't earn your respect. Being a good person should.
Just went right to Hitler again. I'd hope one day you'd actually understand just how offensive that is.
I can only picture you coming home from work where you had problems with your email...."Aw man, today was like the trail of tears at work" or "Now I know how black slaves felt".
You don't count.
Your previous posts reveal you as a NeverTrumper and you are represented by a Dem in The House.
So what you say and think about a GOP leader is irrelevant.
I'll miss him, but it was always known that his tenure in congress was temporary.
It is interesting to see how many Trumpers don't like Ryan.
