His entire schtick was such an obvious lie that it's hard to believe anyone who's even vaguely aware of reality could actually buy the BS he peddles.

He's not a policy wonk. He's not a fiscal conservative. He's not out to protect the little guy. He wants you believe all those things, but his time in office shows him to be just another fact-challenged ultra-selfish person there solely to benefit the wealthy and well-connected.

Now that he is leaving congress after having passed major tax legislation and a budget as Speaker of the House during a period of total Republican control over the federal government, we can finally determine what a fraud this jerk really is. Not to mention his coddling and enabling of Trump.

Good riddance to this a-whole.
Paul Ryan, what a worthless dud.

This Herman Munster looking bafoon couldn't even out-debate old Joe-stand-up-and-let-em-see-ya Creepy Biden.

Go be with your kids... For a few minutes and let them go play. You'll bore them to death.

Exactly. Vouchers. So they use up their vouchers and then they get cancer. Oooops the vouchers ran out when you were in that car accident. You had to use a lot of them for the ambulance, the ER, the surgery, the PT. All gone. So sorry.

I would rate Ryan relatively low on the "evil" scale, but he is nevertheless a corporate ***** Republican.

I won't shed any tears over his departure.

Ryan made himself a lame duck. Wonder why if he’s not leaving until January? He is a Koch brothers puppet. No backbone against trump.

The Republicans went from the party of fiscal sanity to the party of the biggest spending increase in modern history. Family values turned into “grab them by the *****”. Compassionate conservatism turned into Muslim bans.

We'll see how that plays out, and how or even if the data on the following chart changes...

From what we know about the most recent IRS published tax return data, these are the actual facts on what percentage of the total income each income group earns vs. the percentage of the total federal income tax revenue they pay:

Chart: Income Share vs. Federal Income Tax Share, By Income Level
