Yes, he was originally a Bush appointee, but does that mean Obama can't like him?

“Ronny’s positive impact cannot be overstated. He is a tremendous asset to the entire White House team. Already at a level of performance and responsibility that far exceeds is current rank, promote to Rear Admiral now,” said an undated performance review that was signed by Obama.

The former president sent years of positive reports about Trump’s White House doctor, who is giving no indication he will withdraw his nomination for the V.A.

Embattled VA nominee has no plans to withdraw -- for now, source says

Dr. Ronny Jackson, the embattled pick to lead the Veterans Affairs agency, will continue fighting for his nomination, according to senior administration officials, despite allegations of misconduct and hints from President Donald Trump that he could withdraw himself from contention.

The White House feels Jackson is being "railroaded" by the claims he oversaw a toxic work environment and drank to excess. Instead, the officials insisted Jackson would push back forcefully and said Trump was not wobbling over his selection. Trump met with Jackson on Tuesday in the Oval Office after saying it was "totally (Jackson's) decision" whether to continue the confirmation process.

Trump nominated a drunk to run the VA to show his appreciation for the military.

Who claimed Obama didn't like him? That does not make him the darling of the administration as you claimed though.

And to repeat, neither Obama nor Bush nominated him to head up the VA and the promotion referenced in your link has zero to do with that.

"If social drinking on foreign presidential trips is now grounds for ruthless character assassination then I encourage media outlets to reach out to me so I can fill them in on all of the Obama staffers who downed alcohol by the barrel overseas." - Dan Bongino

Trump only hires the best.
Seems like most of the trouble comes from obama holdovers. Now that they are with Trump, people are suddenly poking into these peoples backgrounds when no one bothered to do so before.

Just watched a clip of Jackson stating there was no IG report on him.

Turns out there was.

IG report from 2012 about Jackson was just released by WH. "The command climate is terrible," etc.

There were other unfavorable comments as well.

Why would the WH release this?

Did anyone see the interview tonight with one of the members of the House committee, Montana Senator Jon Tester?

"Military personnel have come forward to report his previous actions."

"Abusive towards staff, belittles staff, ..."

It wasn't merely "social drinking," people reported to the committee that he got so drunk he couldn't do his job as the President's physician. "Repeatedly drunk on duty."

Also, some twenty people reported that he would go down the aisle of the plane handing out prescription sleep medications and later prescription wake-up medications. Apparently, he was known as the "Candy Man" for this.

What the hell?
