More's the pity. You are probably correct about Canadian governmental complicity in clandestine U.S. tests being performed upon Canadians. BUT, do you think it probable or possible the obverse ever occurred?
I really doubt that Canada has ever lead those types of tests on its own people or ours. Your nation has a more ethical government (hard to admit that but it is true) when it comes to human rights in general. When we look at testing done on or near civilians since ww2 it is obvious that we Americans should keep a close eye on what our government does. Above ground nuclear tests, the Tuskegee experiments, weather manipulation experimentation are all examples of this. The US government also has a nasty history of spying on its own people and those of allied nations. This goes right up until this very day. We are a good nation and normally a force for good IMO, but we also have some very deep flaws. It is good for us to be aware of them as that is the best way to avoid future problems.

If the Second Amendment meant that only militias could keep and bear arms, it would have said so. It doesn't. As in... We the people. Read the preamble.
No wonder there's so much debate about the second amendment. You say "if it meant only militias could bear arms, it would have said so" and other people read the same text and say "if they meant all people could bear arms, why even add the text involving militias at all?"

It specifically says the people have that Right
Who else would be in the militia to bear arms? Cats? Of course people would bear arms in a militia. Yes, The right of the people to keep and bear arms in a well regulated militia for the security of a free state shall not be infringed. At the very least, I can take the Second Amendment and actually utilize all every word of it. You are simply throwing out 50% of the amendment to suit your needs.

And I enjoy how every time we butt heads over this issue, you always dodge the question of "If the Supreme Court were to reinterpret the Second Amendment to say that the right to bear arms applies to those in a militia, would you put your guns down since you are a true patriot and supporter of the US Constitution?" But you dodge it. Since we both know what your answer would be.

However, this is mostly an intellectual (well... questionably intellectual) debate. Nothing will change. The fact of the matter is there are more guns than citizens and there is no need for a militia.

Mexico is not a failed state.

The U.S. has overlooked the illegal aspect with the greed factors of the cheap labour and future votes assuming priority. This has been the norm for DECADES.

Their agra. business has enjoyed an unfair advantage in nafta for decades due to these slave wage workers while they boldly claim it is they who've been treated unfairly.

Now this poster suggests Canada should feel obligated to shoulder part of their self inflicted damages while they in turn shut down all semblance of compassion towards refugees and asylum seekers.

If the poster were not serious it would be a comedy skit worthy of Monty Python.

"Agenda" would imply some forethought...........that dog isn't even in the truck, much less prepared to hunt.
It's a weird thing how SOME Americans wish Canada ill will..for??? Is it envy? Is it just frustration with things in their own country and they want to go down with as many as possible? Anyway, it's very entertaining, but doesn't have any real substance or effect on Canada or Canadians.

Seriously? It's the same as:

Because those who own homes sometimes have their property damaged or stolen, people buy insurance.

Does every person who has insurance suffer damage or theft? Of course, not.

It's not needed all the time, but it's there if you need it.

According to the IMF and the CIA, Mexico has the 11th largest economy in the world. In what universe is that a failed state?

Canada and the US both should focus more on Mexico and Central America. I mean we spend all sorts of money all over the world, stabilizing countries that don’t contribute to the US. How about we focus on our corner of the planet. It’s in our interests to see all our neighbors successful.

Those other countries provide oil. Mexico and Central America provide nothing but illiterate poverty riddled dirt farmers.

Newsflash Mattks, those citizens who help Mexico maintain the "11th largest economy in the world" have no care in the world for their desperate that flock to the US and Canada. They have the means to help and they REFUSE to do so. They love seeing those people leave. It builds their wealth and then the money they send back to the Mexican economy is just the icing on the cake. They laugh at America daily as they fiercely guard their own immigration policies.

Anyone with common sense can see that. Beyond this fact, we're just battling SJW's that are mentally handicapped.

Anyone with common sense would note that the flow of Mexican illegal aliens has been to Mexico for the last ten years and the Mexicans illegal crossing the border are small numbers and have been for some years.

Some of you folk seem to have a problem understanding the reality. Mexico has few venturing to the US nowadays.
