There are good reasons young boys and girls should have their own groups separately. There are other groups they can then join that then can be of both sexes.

The Girl Scouts have a legitimate complaint.
Reposting this: Troops and Packs will have the option of remaining all boy. Our Troop will not be admitting girls. Also, Boy Scouts of America has run a co-ed program for decades, starting in 1930. My daughter is part of a Venturing Crew, which are typically co-ed, but hers was chartered to be all-girl.


Those who want a combined group can have it, and those who want single gender can still do it that way.

In addition to this that I posted yesterday, I have to say I think the Girl Scouts is handling this VERY poorly. Suing over the name now? Obviously very bitter about the fact that they've mishandled their program for years.
