Why can't boys, and men have their own institutions? Boys act differently around girls, and often need a place to just be boys, and have male role models without the involvement of women. I find this entire trend in society disturbing. I am glad I was able to experience scouting before this PC gender crap came into vogue.
Why anyone thinks little boys want to be around little girls and little girls want to be around little boys in that sort of setting is beyond me. They tend to avoid each other at that age because they tend to have totally different interests. You people are ruining both gender's childhoods in the name of your stupid "inclusion." Congratulations.
In reality, your tactics end up not including, but excluding. Very few little boys want to hang around with little girls. And the same applies the other way around. So you are ruining the whole scout experience for a good chunk of both genders.

Troops and Packs will have the option of remaining all boy. Our Troop will not be admitting girls. Also, Boy Scouts of America has run a co-ed program for ages, starting in 1930. My daughter is part of a Venturing Crew, which are typically co-ed, but hers was chartered to be all-girl.
Those who want a combined group can have it, and those who want single gender can still do it that way.
The Girl Scouts of the USA is suing the Boy Scouts of America for their plans to drop the word “Boy” from their name in 2019. The complaint the Girl Scouts filed stated that the Boy Scouts do not have the right to use "scouts" or "scouting,” and the Girl Scouts brand and their programs will be damaged if the Boy Scouts follow through with their plans. It also asserted, "Only GSUSA has the right to use the Girl Scouts and Scouts trademarks with leadership development services for girls.”
Hate to tell them, that the boy scouts were around long before the girl scouts.
When all said and done, it will be the girl scouts that pay up.
The name is copyrighted
The Girl Scout program is not the ones who wanted who wanted to integrate the Boy Scout program. That would be the SJW and not good for the Boy Scouts IMO. My Son is an Eagle Scout and we went through the program for years.
There are good reasons young boys and girls should have their own groups separately. There are other groups they can then join that then can be of both sexes.
Text book example of how wild SJW's run. Give them an inch and they try to take a mile. That's why you just CAN NOT give in to these nuts.
Too late for the Boy Scouts. They gave in, the damage is done.
Next they will have Transgendered dress and makeup badges.
