Average reading level of Americans is 8th grade.
Most never pick up a book again once they leave HS.

Remember, it takes several interviews to find these idiots. I love to hear what they say and I too wonder how they even got out of school and if they have brains but this isn't everyone.

I have watched several of this type of interviews........they said they did not "cherry pick"....of course, opinions vary.

Not surprising. How many times did we hear last weekend that Memorial Day was in honor of our vets? Nope - it's to honor our fallen soldiers.

One of the first questions I ask on a date is "What are you reading?" 4 times out of 5, the response is something like, "I don't read." These are educated, successful people, often sporting master's degrees. If they're not reading, then I really don't know who is, as an aggregate.
