I have watched several of this type of interviews........they said they did not "cherry pick"....of course, opinions vary.
One of the first questions I ask on a date is "What are you reading?" 4 times out of 5, the response is something like, "I don't read." These are educated, successful people, often sporting master's degrees. If they're not reading, then I really don't know who is, as an aggregate.
Not surprising. How many times did we hear last weekend that Memorial Day was in honor of our vets? Nope - it's to honor our fallen soldiers.

The people telling the people what they should be doing don't even know.
