Along with reports that the plan is for Bush and Obama to give eulogies at McCain's eventual funeral, and that his family is at his Arizona ranch, the end must be near.

People close to Sen. John McCain have told the White House that the ailing Arizona Republican does not want President Donald Trump to attend his funeral and would like Vice President Mike Pence to come instead, a source close to McCain confirmed to NBC News.

There is no love lost between the 2. I'm sure Trump will respect his wishes.

OTOH, I no longer trust NBC's trusted sources unless they want to name names.

I wouldn't want such a man at any of my celebrations either. In fact, I wouldn't go to the WH if summoned for a meeting or event.

There are very few human beings who I would feel that way about....perhaps a few percent. But Trump is pretty much an open book so we don't have to guess or misunderstand how horrible he is.

I certainly hope he doesn't force his way into the funeral. He does not deserve a hair off McCains head (and I'm not a big McCain fan, but still...everything is relative).

I don't blame McCain. I like Trump and no fan of McCain as a Senator but Trump was way out of line with his comments on McCain.

I'm not a McCain fan, but I can understand why he wouldn't want Trump there.

Default Trump is so toxic that...

John McCain doesn't want him at his funeral
Has had friends tell the White House to respect his wishes...
That. Is. Toxic.
