While they are trans girls (not trans boys), I say no. Its simply not fair to the biological females, who are not as strong and who don't have as much testosterone. Look, I'm all for people being who they are, which includes being ok with people who are transgender. But I'm also for fairness and have no problem speaking out against what I view as inherently unfair. That, of course, brings us to what to do with people who fall into such categories--especially as children--who run the risk of being left out of sporting if certain views win out. As to that question, I don't have a good answer, but just know that the current setup isn't fair to anyone. And if I was transgender, I'd hope that I'd have the class to bow out of such competitions where I had an unfair edge.
Last I heard, biological females didn't have a particular organ in their groin region.
So perhaps we should restrict competition to trans girls who have undergone the entire transformation.
I have no problem with people wanting to transition. It is their life and their choice. I don't agree with them competing in athletics with the gender they transitioned to.
If you are a man or used to be a man, you have far too many built-in biological advantages. You shouldn't be allowed to compete.
The Progressive side of the argument disagrees of course. What do you do when the only world champions in all women's sports are all trans? What does it look like when a trans version of Lebron James plays in the WNBA? Biological women can't hope to compete. Do we have to go charging headlong down this path before we figure it out?

I don't understand the logic...
If someone elects to change themselves into a woman legally, why shouldn't they have the right to identify as "women" in all matters? (i.e sports, Affirmative Action quotas etc).
Should they be allowed to identify as women in some situations, while being denied to do so in others?

You don't get to decide that!
