I answered it a few posts ago. If you have a free trade agreement you cant have tariffs! That is a violation of free trade trade.

Free trade agreements have negotiated give and take. The US has import tariffs. What sections or which agreements were violated?

Wish we had a President with Trump's priorities but with Clinton's competence. He's absolutely right but ill equipped to design effective policy to fix the matter, as demonstrated by his track record so far.

If other countries want to penalize their own people with tariffs and restrictions while selling us better priced products that can be made here, how is the US harmed?
