I don't know who he is, but I cant keep up with every sociologist/psychologist/philosopher either. He's very good though, especially when it comes to pointing out why things are the way they are.
Overall, thanks Janelle, for making me aware of him.
I've been aware of him for awhile, he's on tour with Dave Rubin. Jordan is actually quite brilliant in many ways. Very very smart guy. Guys like him run circles around me, intellectually speaking.
Violent attacks are what happens when men do not have partners, Mr. Peterson says, and society needs to work to make sure those men are married.
“He was angry at God because women were rejecting him,” Mr. Peterson says of the Toronto killer. “The cure for that is enforced monogamy. That’s actually why monogamy emerges.”

- Marriage is for the rich.
- Women have sucky jobs.
- Early 1950s and 60s.
- Women leave law firms at 30 for the desire to have a life.
These are ridiculous statements just in the first five minutes of the video. Then the rest is just a rant. I think my cynicism about this guy was justified after watching the video. BirdieBelle’s link intensified my case as well.

My comments were more related to other subjects, I'm not familiar with his relationship views.
human beings value freedom above all else.
the fact that a woman is secure, has respect and status, and a family is of little value- if she feels she is being denied freedom --
she is more than willing to sacrifice all of the above to get it --is willing and in millions of cases- already has.
the burning question after 45 million divorces since 1975 when no fault divorce became law,
do women feel it was worth it?
all i spoke to say yes.
and that includes those whose lives are a financial disaster

Nellie Bowles who wrote that article is really known for her knowledge of technology, and reports for the NY Times in the SF Bay Area.
Her reporting is often controversial; for example, her account of her interview with the alt-right Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson attracted much attention, and her coverage of the political aspects of the Facebook Watch service was criticized by pro-Israeli groups.
If you are going to grab quotes here and there to use as commentary about someone, you need to also look at the person who is making the comment. It is also good to have context for the quotes, which doesn't seem to be available in the article.
