Hopefully good news. When the economy sucks, smart people are stuck working brain-dead jobs. When every idiot can get a job, that means the competent people have moved up to something better.

What Trump is doing will not be felt for a while. Let's see how the economy is in 2020.
I suspect my employees would differ with your perspective! They are getting more money in their pockets....NOW!

Did you sell all your stocks and load up on gold and the dried foods yet?

You don't want 0%. You don't want 3.7% either.

5% is the healthy mark.

Wait, a few years ago Trump said employment numbers were fake. Now they're not?

No, as with Obama people are tired of the run around and just give up.

It's kind of like polls are fake, except for Rasmussen which is not because it favors conservatives.

And any news that doesn't have a right-wing bias is "fake news."

Yup ,they go bye the numbers of people not getting unemployment not actual people working. If unemployment numbers go down it is assumed by the goverment more people are working and that is not the case.

Uh, this has been going on for a while now. At least ten years or more, even when the unemployment numbers were sky high, so the unemployment rate has nothing to do with it. Quality employees cost more money and its cheaper to hire mediocre talent and the company saves bucks.

The elephant in the room concerning this economy is if there really was a labor shortage, why are wages still stagnant?

Nobody can tell me the economy is booming until we start seeing some significant wage increases.
