So amusing.

Wrong on all points except one. We state facts, liberals and Dems just act and react emotionally, no facts necessary.

We probably don’t love governing, but realize it is a job that must be done. Dems certainly DO love to govern. They love the power and prestige that goes with high political office. They love the adoration of their flocks of sheep, bowing and genuflecting as they pass. They love the financial benefits that come with being in a position to help others who will gladly pay for some special consideration(hello Hillary).

They certainly love the possibility of being in a long term, if not lifetime, position, living off the public’s money, staffers always at their beck and call, laughing at people like you who make their lives possible, while not caring a whit about most of their supporters.

So, 1 out of 3. If you were a MLB player, you would be batting .333.
But you’re not, so, it just means you’re wrong most of the time

By the title of this topic "Liberals ARe Pushing This Country To The Edge", it seems you don't really want to be civil just yet.

There are some ways to tone things down and still present your opinions. One is to avoid blaming the other side for every kerfuffle, large or small, that arises.

Another way to to avoid "What Aboutism", as there are always going to be different opinions.

Still another is the easiest. Stop calling other people names when they disagree with you. When mutual respect happens, civility follows. And once it begins, political things tend to happen that are more agreeable to everyone.

This response is very civil, rational and reasonable. But the lunacy and the vicious attack of the writer of the quoted article, is not worthy of such a reply. Those who quote and follow such mad dogs, are showing their lack of original thought. It appears that a main reason Trump became popular with them, is that they no longer have to do any thinking for themselves.

What about that trump supporter that shot up parkland high school? Or the one that ran over that girl in Charlottesville at the white supremacist rally?

When people react on emotion and not logic this is where it goes.
Repubs have the majority and control all branches of government. Time for them to put on their big boy pants and take responsibility instead of blaming the democrats.

The only people who are remotely associated with facts are libertarians. So-called “conservatives” are every bit as lacking in factual knowledge and reliant on emotion as liberals.

Exhibit $22 trillion why conservatives are just as worthless as liberals. Y'all still want to “govern” (i.e. rule) over others without our consent by passing laws which violate our natural rights.

What about this antifa criminal? You didn't remark on her.

These people were at a protest. The antifa radical set the girl's hair on fire because she is a Trump supporter.

Democrats hold the biggest levers on public manipulation through the media outlets, which is the primary mechanism responsible for the political turmoil we see today. They are purposefully dividing the country by riling people up over irrelevant and often misunderstood issues. They are constantly spinning issues out of context to confuse and misguide people.

They are inflicting pain on Trump for winning a fair election without their express approval, and deriding the population who voted for him. All this is doing is strengthening Trump's base, and pushing liberal voters even more to the left, further dividing the country.

Democrats, and especially the left-leaning media outlets, own this.
HOGWASH!

Since the GOP has both congressional and senatorial control, they have the ultimate governmental power.

The GOP also has FOX news in lock step with its current agenda. Trump has never had it so good, until now.

His base are completely devoted to his inane rhetoric and they're ready to sacrifice all they deem holy, just to placate his insatiable hunger for power.

None of which has ANY bearing on liberals going ape **** crazy and cranking it up to another level every week.

None of that has ANY bearing on liberal media giving voice to the insane, violent, seditious people doing everything they can to destroy the US because they can't have their way 24x7.

You prefer 21st century brownshirts instead? Liberals are running the brownshirt playbook page by page. Who is it trying to shut down free speech? The left
Who is it trying to shut down bushiness of people they disagree with? The left
Who is it firing up mobs who destroy public and private property? The left
