He certainly is entertaining and can get a crowd of supporters really going. I about died laughing when he was talking about Maxine Waters. He was begging Dems not to get rid of her and continue to let her be their mouthpiece. What's really surprising is he seems to have limitless stamina and enthusiasm.
I find his rallies an interesting look as his psyche. Needs constant adoration/validation. Keeps talking about how great he is as if trying to convince himself as well as others. Likes to bully to feel superior. His daddy must have done quite a number on him while he was growing up. Strange individual to say the least.

I think the fact that he's now President and still does his rallies resonates well with most people. How often does the regular guy get to see the President in person talking and behaving just like he was one of them? He seems like someone you can sit down and have a beer with.
Neither Obama nor Bush ever gave a thought to going out and allowing regular folk to meet them and hear them speak in this way.
Obama especially was all about rubbing elbows with the elite. Even though Trump is the elite he seems to enjoy spending time rallying and talking directly to anyone who wants to attend.
No other president has needed his ego stroked non stop as much as this one. Its amazing.
Imagine all the winning if he spent his time working instead of preening.
All Presidents go out on the stump in an election year to campaign and get funding for the party.
