Soon there won't be any money once there's no pipe to lay. Thanks Trump! You are the biggest gift that keeps on giving to Democrats.

Neither Obama nor Bush ever gave a thought to going out and allowing regular folk to meet them and hear them speak in this way.
Obama especially was all about rubbing elbows with the elite. Even though Trump is the elite he seems to enjoy spending time rallying and talking directly to anyone who wants to attend.
Are you serious??? Trump little pep rallies are nothing more then him getting a ego boost. Only a fool thinks he care about anyone but himself.

In Trump's case the election year started in March 2017.

Please keep thinking like that. That short sightedness will ensure Trump gets re-elected. Only cares about himself huh? He sure puts a lot of effort into doing something that he could easily do sitting in the WH like Obummer did

Did you not listen to him? I listened to him to know that’s all he did, and that’s all he ever does. Good luck thinking that.

Obama was siting in the WH doing his job Trump siting his fat arse in a golf kart. Any time he puts his foot in his dat little mouth, or does something the media and the public pounces him for. He’s off to some rally to get his fragile ego stroked.

The point is that he still puts himself out there and talks to people like he's one of them. Anyone can attend his rallies without paying $1000 for a plate of spaghetti. He doesn't pretend to be anything but what he is. It's a breath of fresh air for those who are sick and tired of elitists like Obama and Hillary who snub their noses at working people and make snide remarks about guns/religion/ and deplorables.

So predictable, first the arrogance, then the crying. Like clockwork.

What a sorry excuse for a President, but a superb carnival barker.
Oh, so you watched it.

Good waste of your er- use of your time.

Trump was wrong. The media finally panned out to the huge crowd.

Huge for North Dakota anyway. Are there more than 9,000 people in that state?

Minus the movie Fargo, how much time do y'all spend thinking about the place?

Hitler? You've burned a hole in that comparison. Could you start using someone else? Charles Manson? Genghis Khan? Skeletor? Patrick from Spongebob?

But honestly? If he did? I'd give him some serious credit for it. And thats the trap. This guys all hat, no cattle.
Ole Chucklebuckets Schumer said he's all cattle and no hat. Between Chuckie Nancy and Maxine, they could probably host the Today Show one day.

Agreed. Can't understand why folks can't see the brilliance in his tweets as well.

Trump was born into money, so he IS an elitist he’s the very definition of it. Why is that so hard for you all to see?? Trump doesn’t know the first thing about the working class he’s been far removed from it his entire life. Same with any other politician even more so in the case of Trump.

That’s the point you all are missing.

C'mon, he Kevin'd (Kevin Cramer, the main person he was campaigning for) it up, had him come up on the stage and speak, gave shout outs repeatedly to Harold Ham (oil guy) and Mike (the My Pillow Guy) in the audience and he mentioned both the current governor (Doug Burgum) and the former governor plus he gave Maxine Waters a promotion to replace Hillary Clinton (who he offhandedly referred to but I don't think called her by name) and placed Waters up on a pedestal with Nancy Pelosi and cryin' Chuck Schumer. He also mentioned the defeat of that long-time Democrat, by name, who lost to the 28 year old Socialist with the hyphenated last name in their NY primary. I think he said she kicked the you know what out of him...but he actually said the "you know what" word.

BUT, the person he talked about more than anybody else was Senator Heidi Heitkamp...and not in a good way. He told them all of the instances where she voted against the things important to the people of ND:

Direct quote from the President:

“Heidi voted no on our massive tax cuts for North Dakota families. She voted no. Not one Democrat voted to cut your taxes and the other day Nancy Pelosi said we have to raise your taxes. What’s that all about? She wants to raise your taxes. Heidi voted no on legislation to stop late term abortions. Heidi voted in favor of the deadly, very, very dangerous horrible sanctuary cities. You need a Senator who doesn’t just talk like they are from North Dakota, but votes like they are from North Dakota, that’s what you need."

She originally campaigned on saying she'd vote with Trump. The president went on to state that a vote for Heitkamp would be a vote for the continued Democratic leadership of Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters.

He repeatedly says "We did it" unlike another former president.

I think the rally was his best post-election rally and that's what you call campaigning.

Of course, if he was Obama, he'd make his zillionth trip to San Francisco to get money and insult Republican voters (clinging to our guns and religion). Plus, Obama always went to college campuses to campaign when he wasn't looking for money and I know why he did it, too. I'm pretty sure he knew the easiest people to get over on are people who aren't out in the real world paying taxes, paying bills, worried about losing their house or trying to put food on the table for a family. In other words, they didn't care about the economy because they weren't a part of it yet.

I thought ego driven people typically talk about themselves nonstop...you know like Barry Sotero..using the word "I" 50 times in a given 20 minute speech. Trump? Yeah uses that word maybe twice. Sorry if I torpedoed your "ego" theory...
