Trump has NO understanding of economics or trade policies. His blanket, inane, ignorant actions are starting to cost real jobs, and cause real harm. He just doesn't get it.

We ain't seen nothing yet. Just wait a few months when all these tariff kickbacks start hitting us. Hope his followers are the first to feel the effects, maybe that will wake them up. Second thought, nah !!

The process is still working. Trump is taking a risk, but the process is not done yet.

you assume there is no plan, but since you are not part of the administration, you are not privy to what trump is working on now are you? but even at this point there are still more jobs open than people to fill them.

There is no PROCESS
There is just an almost animalistic bent toward a desired end--w/o considering consequences
The advisors Trump is listening to--Navarro and others--are NOT considered very smart
Their ideas represent the fringe just like Trump's immigration stance (the child separation, the goon squads tracking down non-criminal immigrants, the emphasis on MS 13 here while disregarding the damage/threat it presents in Central American countries where the sanctuary-seekers come from) represents a pathalogical hatred for people who are poor and Latino
Are they searching for all the Asians or Africans or others who overstayed their student visas?
Don't think so---and they never will

How do you know that? Are you privy to the details on how he is accomplishing his job?

Let the DOW drop 10,000 points if that's what it takes to dump trump. I will happily take the hit.

Do you even read what you post?
Have you read/listened to any of Trump's comments or Mnuchin--who had the idiocy to say that he didn't anticipated retaliatory tariffs on items the US didn't impose tariffs on????
Idiot not to anticipate that response from countries making strategic strikes to hurt Trump friendly industries or states---
And double idiot to actually admit he was that stupid

This is list of the states MOST likely to have their local industries hurt by the proposed tariffs-
Note that Indiana -- Pence's home state---can expect almost a 30% decline--
