I feel sorry for the kids who were probably traumatized by the whole ordeal.
I bet they won’t remember this incident when they get older. Well, maybe the 4 year old will, but the 2 year old probably won’t. I bet the only traumatized people are the mom and the car jacker.

That’s a weird story.

Why does he sound like a guy that practically begged someone to shoot him in the face? 😂

Just like those women who wear sexy clothing and get raped?

That is like blaming victims of rape for the rape because of what the were wearing. Or the bleeding heart liberals on the DC subway that said it would be my fault if my phone was stolen because I was playing on the newest iPhone at the time.

Good for her, but she is negligent as hell! Who leaves keys in the ignition with their kids in the back and a gun in the car? Also how tf didndhe reach into the glovebox from the back seat and shoot him?

A cop could have emptied his pistol into him and the DA never would have blinked. If she had fired more than once she'd be under serious scrutiny. That's a double standard that has to change.
Kids are in the back seat.

Mom leaves doors unlocked and presumably the keys in the ignition and goes inside to pay the bill.

What could go wrong?

Police officers are trained to empty their guns into people. And if you shoot someone once, you should probably make sure of it or you could end up the dead one. Shoot to kill, never to wound. Armed police officers who are highly trained do not shoot one time then stop to evaluate if someone is too hurt or cannot go on-nor should you.

Its different if you have stopped shooting and know they arent a threat.

that kind of attitude will get you a jail sentence for murder. when you shoot someone, you do it to stop them from doing something bad, not to kill them.
