"President Donald Trump slammed member nations of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) early Wednesday morning in Brussels, demanding that they increase their funding of the organization and accused Germany of being Russia's captive."

Finally, a president who fights for American interests.

While Trump was saying that Germany was captive to the Russians Kelly and Pompeo looked like they could not get far enough away from that fool.

An hour or two later he is chummy with Merkel.

When Trump meets Putin he will bend over and his supporters will cheer Trump's flexibility.

I agree Trump definitely acts like he is drunk. It is an explanation to his bizarre behavior,

NATO countries pledged to spend an amount equivalent to 2% of their GDP on their military. Mostly these NATO countries do not do it.

Canada just announced that they would lower it from 1.36% to 1.23% - even though Canada pledged to spend 2% years ago and hasn't.

Why shouldn't the US start to pull back some? Reduce our military bases in NATO countries to cut back our own spending. The EU is bigger than Russia...about 10 times the GDP and about 4 times the population. Let the EU protect themselves from Russia. Sure keep a defense alliance in place...but pull out our military bases if they can't keep their own promises...let them spend more or have a weak military presence in Europe. Their choice. It isn't our obligation to have a massive military presence in Europe while they spend money on their own people.

Save our own money and reduce the deficit, heck even spend some of the savings on our own people.

Why not?

It's the art of the deal. Something Trump has been doing for years with good results. It keeps everyone on their toes.

The art of the deal?

How times has Trump declared bankruptcy?
How many times has he been sued?
How many attorney generals sued him for fraud?
How many business failures has he had?

As president, Lil' Rocketman made a complete fool of Trump.
His staff can't leave fast enough.

Trump did not even write his own book. Hell, I don't even think he read it.

As far as the NATO summit is concerned, if that is your best excuse for a rambling, embarrassing performance by Trump, we are in a very bad place indeed.

I challenge you to make one geopolitically relevant statement in regard to Germany and Russia. Give us a single inkling that you know what you are talking about whatsoever.

Why, because statements of truth would mandate that Merkel start acting like a butt-hurt grade schooler or that Trump start throwing spitballs at her?

Over a nation that has 2/3rds the GDP of Italy?

Perhaps save the homoerotic fantasies for your dreams.

I say pull out of NATO. Let the Eurotrash defend themselves.
