All the legitimate talking heads this morning including Bloomberg says this is a great number for the economy to keep rolling strongly forward. Anything negative from the left field especially here on CD is nothing more than sore losers hoping the economy was going to tank.
Keep telling yourself that, if that’s what makes you feel better. I heard the same talk before Bush’s economy tanked.
I have never seen so much hoopla over a single quarter's GDP numbers. I guess when the other one's have missed the mark by so much, you will cheer for anything.
You must not have been alive or been paying attention in 2014. It was big to have happened in 1 quarter of Obamaville.

Yeah? The future is so great Trump has to bail out farmers(who are p*ssed at the suggestion that they are being bailed out) that are suffering due to a trade war he started.
Trump loves 'free' govt money, those farmers prefer to earn it-he doesnt understand.
I really don't think Trump is able to fudge these numbers. If word ever got out that Trump was trying to fudge the numbers of these economic releases, there would be some extremely serious hell to pay. Plus, they have extremely tight security measures in the BEA and BLS that are probably pretty resistant to political tampering.
