The shooting of Michael Brown was justified as well

But, ultimately, the residents were right

In a lot of other cultures he'd never have a gun and just be another drunk fool. I truly feel bad for cops because most of them really don't want to gun citizens down. Most go their whole careers without even firing.

But in a situation like this there is nothing you can do. The die was cast when unlimited numbers of guns flooded the market and people who shouldn't have them can buy them easier than a bottle of beer.

The residents/protestors weren't right about the Brown shooting, it WAS justified.

They were right about much of the cities policies and the way they policed the city being bad...

There's always at least one Debbie Downer in a thread.

Some people just don't know how to stay alive, it's so easy:
Obey the law.
Obey police commands.
Simple huh.

My takeaway on this is anytime a moron dies, the gene pool improves.

How were the residents right? By burning down buildings and destroying property of innocent business owners to protest a justifiable shooting?

Yet, he was the one that made the choice to pick up the gun and do stupid $_hit with it.
Also, have you tried to purchase a handgun ? Can you pass the NICS check ? Can you answer all the 4473 questions legally ? While not hard, there are many people that can't.

You should clarify matters and post your definition of a "thug".

From what I saw he was an extremely dangerous person, not a fish, so "catch and release" probably wasn't the most effective way to handle it.
