I sense a bit of a tipping point.

He has the power to pardon. That is why Manafort's team only put up a token fight. And Cohen is not required to cooperate against Trump although he might get a reduced sentence if he does. Mueller wanted that stipulation I am surprised he gave in on that. If he does not cooperate he might get pardoned.

A bad day for Trump that is for sure. Can't wait for the impending tweet storm. But just like the Trumpers do, the left has to stretch the whole situation beyond what it is to make them feel good.

Gotta love the two party system.

That makes it Clinton 20 and Trump 8. However I expect Trump to get real close to Clinton's numbers.

Ahhh. The two party system. Gotta love it.
I don't see the two party system being the root cause of this, it is just corruption. Corruption isn't a two party issue, it is simply an issue.

Technically that might be correct but when the prosecution has overwhelming evidence that prosecution to a guilty verdict is pretty much a slam dunk then something beside a guilty plea really is needed to sweeten the pot for the prosecution....

I would think his guilty plea to MacDougall and Daniels's campaign violations are going to be particularly juicy in regards to possible links to the RNC campaign funding and to Trump's involvement
The prosecutors are having a press conference outside courthouse and the first speaker Robert Kazami (?) is pretty caustic about Cohen's position as an attorney and abusing that to the extreme is against the rule of law that America is founded on
MSNBC reporter said don't assume that a cooperation agreement is not enforce because it is not entered into the record...it is done under seal to prevent "snitches from getting stitches"...

The critique of Cohen breaking the law virulently was direct thrust at Trump who believes he is above the law and "can involve himself" in Mueller's investigation with his power as POTUS --- totally false...
But serves his ego bigly...

Tonight's rally in WVA should be a sxxx storm of lies and bravado and calls to the base to turn their ears and eyes away from the actions of today's justice system...

Now that most primaries are out of the way, if things start going badly (ie Trump starts acting like Trump), the GOP may act to save themselves. They are already acting as if they may lose the Senate.

The MSNBC reporter said don't assume there is not a plea deal about more insider info just because it was not mentioned---that plea deal could be done under seal as protective device for Cohen as much as anyone
He is a valuable commodity at this point and needs to be protected

A source familiar with the deal told Fox News that it includes a guilty plea and jail time of between three and five years. The deal does not involve a cooperation agreement with federal prosecutors.

Michael Cohen to plead guilty, face jail time as part of deal with federal prosecutors | Fox News

A PLEA DEAL means he gives the persecution something...he isn't he is saving his own skin from spending rest of his life in prison by pleading guilty. As I said.
Neither you nor Fox New have any way of knowing what Cohen gave up. That is between him, his attorneys, and the prosecution. But the prosecution wouldn't have agreed if Cohen hadn't given them something. That's now how it works.

Mistrial means prosecution can retry. So depends on how many jurors were undecided on each count. If it was just one person - well that would be bad for the defendant.
