She's a fool and is probably being protected until she starts to at least understand the issues.
If she thinks that her voters not being quoted by the press will promote a freer flow of ideas at a outlier town hall meeting, then that’s up to her. You are free to disagree that it’s a good idea. Doesn’t change the fact that the entire premise of this thread is a lie, which was my point.

So that Cortez chick wants to ban the media?? Good. She won't be able to get through a press conference because she won't know the answers to things she "supposedly" knows, and she cannot speak in complete sentences with intelligent stuff. Let's just hope and pray that she does not get elected. To serve in high office, you must, at least, know what is happening in your country, something that Ms Cortez has demonstrated ineptitude with thus far.

Nothing can be further from the truth. Ms Cortez is not intelligent at all. In case you've missed any of the recent TV clips, she shows that she has no clue of any of the things she talks about, and that's troubling. But if you Democrats think that an uninformed, uneducated Valley girl starving for attention is what you want to represent you in Congress, then, by golly, just have at it. Conservatives live the truth and will gladly take her on in a debate which she'll just chicken out of, anyway, and that means an automatic win for conservatives.

I've been saying that she's the Palin of the dems, "she's a breath of fresh air", "Young and pretty" blah blah blah. Then like Palin, she begins to speak........ and the fantasy fades away, at least for those of us that can fog up a mirror.
Having nothing to do with ideology/politics, I'd put good money are Palin running circles around Cortez in both intelligence and life experience.

Much of the liberal media tried to make Palin look stupid, but Cortez does it all by herself.

Uh oh. If this is true, she's acting like fascist Trump. That is not good.

That sounds ok, we can improve an agency, any government agency that can work more effectively than I'm for it.

Nope, they never follow up with anything other than get rid of them. What does that mean, especially in the context of them not offering up a replacement, it means no borders at all, what the heck else can it mean????

It's beyond idiotic. I don't think I've ever seen more people saying more stupid things than any other point in my life, not just this subject, I mean across the board, I don't know where people's cognitive abilities have gone.

Like Elvis??? Left the building??
Mensa members might be the dumbest smart people you could ever meet. That is not to say they might not be brilliant in areas of their expertise or focus, but much of their brainpower is in the abstract/theoretical, not real world experience.
They certainly would not be the right group to help decide how ICE could be run more efficiently, even if you removed all politics and ideology out of the equation.

Let her be one of the few members of Congress who do not take marching orders from their Wall Street overlords. I fail to see why that is so horrible.
Because we live in America, which runs on Capitalism and she is a complete Socialist. We don’t want that in this country. This is the greatest country in the world and the only one that allows the chance of being anything one wants to be, despite what that POS NY Governor says. Her ideas are insane and will never make a dent in this country.

Sounds vaguely familiar, cant place my finger on why though.
I'm not saying she is my candidate. I don't know enough about her either way other than her distracting thinking she represents a changing demographic in that NYC house district better than the sitting Democratic representative does, but the whole thing is more about the media not giving candidates outside of the typical Republican or Democrat box a fair shake. What I will say is Trump was treated rather fairly. The media might not have been nice, but he sucked the air out of the Republican primary race. That didn't give Kaisch, Cruz, Paul, et. All a fair shot due to Trump's accessibility to the media.
