So you're saying that republicans are too stupid to be able to verify that she's actually whom she is saying and look up school records and old classmates?
the simple fact is, if you are a republican and you are somehow connected to national politics (and ever more increasingly local/state) you WILL be accused of sexual assault and/or sexual harassment.
This is the reason why the #metoo movement has been nearly exclusively about liberal men. Every republican has already been accused and only the squeaky clean survive on that side of the ledger.
my only shock in this coming out is how late in the game it took to get it to come out. Kavanagh had to be accused of sexual assault. Its utterly required that a conservative be accused.

We're talking about a lifetime appointment to the highest court in the land. Why do we need to rush, rush, rush it through? Isn't this an important enough position that we should take our time and make sure all the relevant information is disclosed?

Btw, he already has a lifetime appointment as a federal judge. I've mentioned it twice already and not a single person has commented one way or the other, but if this cloud makes him unfit to be on SCOTUS then it makes him unfit to be on the DC Circuit.
