And as long as the remaining Democrats continue to call large parts of America "deplorable", stupid and racist, instead of figuring out why they did lose America, then that is where they remain. Their disgust of working America, as demonstrated by the post you responded to, is self evident.
But it just so happens that segment of the population believes that only THEY are the true Americans and everyone else should be second class citizens if they should even be allowed to exist in this country at all. They also want to force their anti-education and anti-science worldview on the entire country and run our society entirely based off fictions and bronze-age mythology. Who decided that only white heterosexual conservative Christian Americans were real Americans?
Trump could not have won on his own - on either policy or personality or both combined.
He actually needed a miracle to get him to win.
The entire establishment, democrats and republicans alike, were stacked up against Trump, not to mention Hollywood and the so-called media. Trump had no chance without the God of the Bible. Trump also overcame 16 other candidates in the primaries. Remember the brokered convention rumors to deny Trump the nomination? Overcome. Remember the desire for Joe Biden to run instead of Hillary? Beau Biden dies of the same rare brain tumor as John McCain and Ted Kennedy, so Joe Biden was too devastated to run. Then, there's Bernie Sanders. The corrupt democrats rigged the system for Hillary, as Bernie probably would have beaten Trump. The democrats, however, were stuck with Hillary and the email scandal. Trump loses the popular votes by about 3 millions votes but wins the presidency via the electoral college. I could go on and on about how Trump was able to overcome insurmountable odds; only the God of the Bible can perform such a miracle. God has plans for Trump, and it's probably not going to be pretty. Stay tuned.

JUDGEMENT DAY for Trump is soon coming. Stay tuned.
God allowed Nebuchanezzar to pillage Jerusalem and burn the temple, the arc of the covenant (which people have died for merely touching) disappeared. Thousands perished. The kingdom plunged into darkness ...
Was that a miracle too?
It was Judgement on the Jewish people for their sins; it's all spelled out in the Scriptures.
You must not comprehend, I did answer your question. God gives us free choice. He does not favor anyone for President he gives you the skills to make that decision.
It's a stupid question like Does God favor my Football team?
So then you disagree with what scgraham said. Correct?

If you disagree with him, why did you lambaste me for asking the question?
I believe that President Trump won the election of 2016 for two fundamental reasons:
1. From 1983-2000, the U.S. economy experienced an era of tremendous economic growth. Following the recession of 1982, tax cuts and fewer regulations led to increased business confidence, firms invested in the future and created jobs. In the 1990s, we saw those investments pay off as technology advanced greatly. Though some of the growth in the 1990s was due to a bubble, much of it was genuine. From 1983-2000, growth was only interrupted by a minor recession in the early '90s. Despite all of this growth, there were some pockets of the economy that didn't see the same kind of growth. For some, wage growth became stagnant and for others, trade agreements that were implemented meant some manufacturing jobs went overseas. Yet for others, technological advances meant that manufacturing required new skills that middle aged and older workers lacked. These changes continue to take place today. As a candidate for President in 2008, Barack Obama pledged to be an agent of change who would help restore a more vibrant middle class. Following the worst finance collapse in our history, there can be no question but that Barack Obama inherited a difficult situation. Unfortunately, the policies pursued by the Obama administration either did nothing to help improve sectors of the economy and in other cases, they made things worse. Excessive regulations, particularly in the health care and energy sectors, under the previous administration adversely impacted numerous industries. The economic recovery following the '08 mess was the slowest since the Great Depression. Average annual GDP growth under the Obama administration was a mere 2.7%. Wages continued to stagnate, poverty increased, energy costs increased, health insurance costs continued to increase, and unemployment was stubbornly high for roughly six of Obama's eight years in office. While the economic misfortunes of the period were not caused by Barack Obama, the promise of change in 2008 became a distant memory and some, myself included, argue that his policies made things worse or at best, didn't make them better. Fast forward to 2016. The economy begins to pick up more momentum than it had in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. But much like the growth of the '80s and '90s, some were left behind. Donald Trump speaks to those people, saying it's not their fault and that trade agreements that send jobs overseas are the causes of their woes. Trump also blames the Obama administration, of which Hillary Clinton was a part of. Trump then wins states where trade agreements are the least popular, giving him an electoral victory over Clinton.
2. Much less complicated than #1, Hillary Clinton is a fundamentally flawed politician. Decades of scandal surrounding her and her seeming inability to connect with "average" Americans hurt her chances of becoming President.
Today, the U.S. economy is better off than when the President took office in January of 2017. Tax cuts and the reversal of the previous administration's regulations have helped create jobs and restore consumer confidence. My fear, however, is that if the entirety of the President's trade policies are implemented, if Obamacare is not repealed and replaced, and if the President blocks companies from recruiting legal immigrants to meet labor needs, the growth in the economy might slow. But for now, Americans are happy with the economic progress of the last 1.5 years.
That said, the hint of scandal and scandals surrounding Trump, his public statements, and the divisions his rhetoric causes could potentially hurt the President's re-election chances. But much of this depends on who his opponent is. I am convinced a center-left or even progressive Democrat like Joe Biden or Andrew Cuomo can win, a far-left ideologue like Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren would alienate too many independent voters with their crazy ideas.
