What a show for people hungry to try and believe he's done something -- anything -- lol.
What has he done?
What is the big accomplishment of this deal?
Name one thing?
Thank you,.
One thing I had heard, which we will see if it made it in the final draft, was an agrement byh Mexico that it's auto workers make a substantially higher wage which would remove wage differential as a reason to shift manufacturing.
funny because I'm seeing the MSM being attacked for celebrating a deal being made when the deal is apparently only a partial deal, contingent on Canada's approval, etc.
MSM -- news outlets can't win no matter what they do.
If they tell you The White House says a great deal is to be signed.....they get slammed for saying 'great' - -but that's what The White House said and that's what they reported.
If they tell you the deal to be signed has conditions, etc....is only a preliminary, partial - -they get slammed for being negative...but if those are the facts what are they suppose to do.
I'm not talking the entertainment shows that use current news as their source. Don Lemon is not a news guy -- he's a political pundit like hannity. Nobody turns to Hannity and Rush for news -- they turn to them for discussion, talking points..not facts.
They do, including Trump. I don't think most of them know the difference.
Renegotiating these deals is what would have happened even with a Democrat as President -- lol. Not as much fan fare, drama and hot air blowing but the same deal.
Did we renegotiate these deals during the 8 years of Obama?

Interesting. So we want to be able to dictate minimum wages in other countries but it is ridiculous to have federal minimum wages in the USA. Okay -- digesting that......
From what I have seen the 16/hr. is the minimum wage. I don't have a problem with that -- but all that will do is raise the cost of production.....which raises the cost of the final product.
Kind of a side topic of all this, but I find it oddly fascinating to see the POTUS taking a conference call from the Oval Office on live TV. Has that ever been done before?
