My problem with illegals is not related to skin color but the fact they speak a foreign language, refuse to learn english, come from dirty, corrupt, backward cultures that wreak environmental havoc, overpopulate, and instead of assimilate and add to our nation, are dragging it down to the level of theirs.
I used to go to tijuana in the 80s, clearly a third world ****hole resembling nothing in america.
More and more neighborhoods in san diego and los angeles look like that now. I think thats a problem dont you?

Same here and it applies to a large extent to the legal immigrants and I oppose most legal immigration too. And when they vote or their anchor babies do they vote democrat and for open border and socialism.
Private property ownership has zero relevance to our current illegal alien problem. The sea of humanity scrambling across the border are not coming here to claim their US ranches and estates.

Immigration laws are not independent of property rights as they can and do prevent property owners enjoying the use of their property.
Every "leftist" I've known is against open borders. No one wants open borders. How would we even be a country without borders?
The left and the right don't disagree on this. This thread isn't about leftists or rightists. What on earth is the CATO institute? Never mind, I don't care. Few Americans want open borders; it's a non issue.
They SAY they are against "open borders" because it sounds like a negative. However, they are for amnesty for ILLEGAL ALIENS which is in effect, open borders.
