Sworn testimony from a convicted felon who lies cheats and steals is a risk, not a slam dunk by any means.
I doubt Mueller would take a weak case of someone's word against another to court.


Manafort's lawyer didn't try to paint anything they didn't even call a witness. It was the prosecutors painting Manafort and the jury didn't buy it. The doc.'s is what the jury bought.

The documents undoubtedly helped. But so did Rick Gate's testimony and the testimony of the other witnesses. No trial is a slam dunk. But if Manafort gives testimony against Trump or his creepy offspring, it will be seriously considered.
