Knowing Trump, he could have bugged the room and heard the entire meeting while he was only one floor away. He's done that sort of thing in private business.

The Russian spy probably installed a bug in the same room during that meeting.

Jr. might have bragged to Manafort about being in contact with Trump, keeping daddy informed about the meeting that was going on.

I'd wager heavily that every Russian in that meeting was wired for sound, and maybe video.

Yup.

It's a possibility that the Russians had a few poison darts in their pockets too, just in case they had to kill Manafort and whoever else was there if things went south.

Russians don't kill themselves when cornered. They kill the other guy first. Putin has assassinated a lot of his opposition after they fled the motherland.

The latest targets, a father and daughter, actually managed to survive poisoning just a few weeks ago in London.

That would have been prudent on his part. But I haven't seen him demonstrate much prudence in anything else he's done or said, at least since he's been in politics. I guess we'll find out eventually if he did have enough sense to keep a buffer or two between him and some of the other actors in this situation.

Jr., Jared, and Manafort were his buffers. And Manafort is talking. The next domino to fall? Jared. Then Jr. Then...

I thought he was supposed to be out of office by late 2017?

Be careful with predictions. We all know how that can turn out.
