I get that free speech is a government thing and tech companies can regulate .
But they’ve always claimed they are in the business of free exchange of information and ideas and the reality is that they have proven time and again that they have a liberal bias .
Yes, I read the whole thread before posting. What doesn’t make sense to you?
You don't see the posts where people are still arguing the point we both seem to think is self evident? The fact that they can legally do this and it isn't a 1st amendment issue should be baked in to the cake at this point, but it seems it isn't. That was my point. Anyone who is still arguing either side of this point probably has a screw loose.
I do wonder though why Trump supporters believe businesses should have the right to discriminate and refuse service to the people they hate yet when somebody does it to them, they can't handle it.

???? Please explain how reddit shutting down this subreddit because of liberal trolling is a sign of liberal bias. Thank you.
In case it isn’t clear to you, I don’t think this shutdown had anything at all to do with political bias in any direction.

OK. I didn’t get that from your post. What I got is that you were implying that this was something that had just recently come to light. I guess I am too used to arguing with people who think that, for instance, InfoWars is being illegally censored!
"intelligent people" don't actually believe that a society free of any government whatsoever would actually work.
I think it's kind of like the flat earth society in a way. You have some really intelligent people trying to argue that the earth is flat, not because they believe it but because they enjoy the intellectual challenge behind trying to prove a demonstrably untrue position. In a way they understand the art of the debate much better than people who think facts actually matter.
I'm going to make a wild guess that whatever was in that forum was truly vile.
It just so happens that the language Trump supporters use tends to be more vicious and violent than posts from anti-trumpets. I can see here, too - Trump supporters tend to post opinions with more insults; Trump opposers tend to post more with facts.
Not true.. each side slings insults and name calling..each side also thinks they are posting facts.
the fact in this case is we have more censorship of Conservatives, a disturbing trend
why this is the case is a matter of opinion.

Trump supporters - "Liberals want to censor everything!"
How do you get "furrowing his brow" out of them actually beating people?
Who was kicked off for "vile content and harassment"?
But hey...
Trump supporting Army Ranger and Benghazi hero was booted off Twitter for telling a moronic lefty that obama was not the one who had killed bin Laden.
Trump hater tweets a threat saying he was going to mass murdering Trump supporters - he's still on Twitter. (twitter probably gave the guy a participation trophy, too)
