If you want someone to represent you, you need to stop voting for corruption. Who are their donors and you can tell who they are serving.
You just described every politician that has run for office..........Regardless of party

So, YOU'RE saying that not believing the polls makes you sound like a babbling lunatic? How'd that work out for you with the election?

The condescending liberals were SO sure...

Lol. A sixty percent disapproval rating definitely means re-election in the bizarro world of Trumpistan.

Funny! That's the exact same feeling that most conservatives had in 2012!

Lightbulb Trump Re-election

Now, our Great President Trump has accomplished this in less than 2 yrs in office. Assuming that the Dems will be reduced to babbling Troglodytes with another 2+ yrs to go, what will they be like after Trump is re-elected in 2020? Will there be any Dem politician left who has any sense of right and wrong, any with even a shred of integrity and common decency? What will the effects of the incredibly contagious TDS be when left unchecked for another 2yrs? Will Election night 2020 become a mass Kool-Aid drinking, liberal cleansing event( that would be awesome).

On another note, the next SCOTUS pick by Trump( RBG can’t last much longer. My God, she barely looks alive now), will probably be a woman. What in the world will the #MeToo groupies do then? That will really suuck for them.

Finally, what will all our liberal brothers and sisters here on C-D have left to give after he is re-elected? They try SO hard now, but they know that they are little more than court jesters for the Kings(Trump) Court(the rest of us!). I fear that they will be little more than empty shells as we dance our way into Donald’s second term.
I'd hafta label that as a somewhat biased analysis, Anni.

BTW, tRump has to get through his first term before planning his second, if that's even a remote possibility.

I'm sure that if Ginsburg's seat on the bench needs to be replaced any time in 2020, McConnell will certainly wait until after the 2020 election, right? That was the excuse with Scalia's seat.

As for Trump, it is still way too early to discuss Trump 2020. It is easy for either side to give reasons why their party will win. Will Trump eke out a bunch of really close contests in FL, WI, MI and PA again? Will there be another attempt to sway the election by Russia?

Generally speaking, incumbents hold the advantage. However, that doesn't always mean they will win. Carter and Bush 41 learned that. But prior to that, you have to go back to 1933 for the previous single-term President (I'm not counting Ford because he wasn't elected to start with). But, each election is different. Just because most presidents win a second term doesn't mean Trump will.

However, what does Hoover, Carter and Bush 41 all have in common? Their terms were marred by a struggling US economy. Now, that's not to say that Trump will win re-election solely based on the economy. Honestly, the sample size of US elections is small. The world of 1932 is not like 1980 which is not like 1992 which is not like 2020. There aren't many people around that were contemporaneous with Hoover, but I doubt Hoover, Carter or Bush 41 were as controversial as President Trump.

If Hoover was going around saying that the Dow Jones was doing just great, no need to look at that stock ticker that says it just lost 23% in two days, don't believe what you hear on the fake radio! Then maybe Hoover could hold a candle to Trump.

And they'd be right to have a meltdown, given what happened with Scalia's seat. Too bad Democrats don't get energized about the SCOTUS the way Republicans do. And even if they did, the chances they take the Senate back are very small.

What are you babbling on about? Your post reads like the ramblings of a mental case.
