I don't see the issue.

The rest of your post is simple Trump derangement. You hate Trump and you have to make up stuff to justify it. Irrelevant to what I responded to in the first place. I get that you guys can't possibly accept that Trump beat the pantsuit off Hillary Clinton. But that's a personal issue having nothing to do with this being a democratic process.
Suborning of the SCOTUS started long before Trump was a candidate. If you think this is about him, you need to go back and do your homework.

The USA got along fine for over two centuries without extending First Amendment rights to corporations. The only reason it was worth bribing Thomas for the decision was so they could toss out campaign finance reform and take control of election expenditures. Republicans were asleep at the switch, and woke up to find themselves wholly owned subsidiaries of Wall Street. Any Republican who did not toe the line found themselves with a primary opponent controlled by corporate dictators.

The damage started years ago, but McCain-Feingold tossed gasoline on the fire.

All Citizens United did was make corporate election tampering legal.

We care because he represents our country on the world stage. His horrible treatment of others makes our entire country look bad to the world, and those actions are a reflection upon him.

Well Clinton was widely excoriated for similar behavior by the (moral) Republicans so at a minimum that might be regarded as hypocritical.

Everything else stated is easily proven with a minimum of googling but I suppose doing so wouldn't support your cause.

Cases where corporations were considered "persons":
https://www.americanbar.org/groups/p...dartmouth.html
14th Amendment implication
https://www.oyez.org/cases/1850-1900/118us394

Keep in mind that an unintended consequence of overturning Citizen's United could be the banning of any lobbying or political activity by any incorporated entity. Think Sierra Club, the ACLU, Brady Campaign against Gun Violence, etc.

RBG should recuse herself from all matters related to Trump. Frankly I think she should resign.
I think she'll just drop dead sometime soon in the middle of deliberations. She can't even stay awake and do her job properly as it is right now, so she's not doing the job she was appointed to do.

Corporations have ALWAYS had the protections of the First Amendment. There has never been a time in our nation's history when they have been prohibited or excepted from this.

If even Trump thought adultery was ok...shout it from the roof top..own it. He d be more of a leader if he did that at least. But he s a child who know s he s been bad and does what he can to keep the woman he is afraid of from finding out. He s a walking hypocrite, bully, liar, coward trickster....and on down the road of the republican party.
