Lots of illegals go there for the oil boom

So if you are homeless, or live in an RV or a boat or a car you do not get to vote? How does that work?

That boom peaked in 2012 and was over by 2014-2015.

After the oil boom, how does North Dakota move on?
https://billingsgazette.com/business...90d49008d.html

They have fewer than 5000 immigrants in the entire state of North Dakota. This is the most ridiculous win but by all means, let North Dakota, with a state population smaller than the Seattle metro, feel like they are a place immigrants want to be.

Like a typical liberal, you chuck race into your post. You people never cease to amaze!

Been on this planet for 44 years and everybody I have ever known has had a physical address, or at least one where they can get their mail, that is not a PO Box. Many people have both, a PO Box for general junk mail, and an address for mail that matters.

But that's discrimination against all those poor people of color who live in PO boxes! Sometimes, 5, 6, 7 people to a box!

We do need to get back to a rational system of suffrage that requires one to have skin in the game. If you don't have tax liability, I don't think you should get to vote. Why should you be allowed to participate in managing the system if you are not contributing anything to support the system?

In fact, here is my suggestion to make it easy:

1. You vote on your Form 1040.
2. And Tax Day is the day before Election Day.

So every PO box owner is an immigrant?

The premise for this is Voter ID, i.e. illegal voting, correct? Isn't that race related? Isn't the GOP's entire reason for existing to oppose immigrants? Especially brown ones? North Dakota is congratulating themselves when they have less than 5000 in the entire state. It's like congratulating oneself for that law against people coming from Greenland, except they are probably white enough for the GOP.

Lots of American natives go there for the oil boom as well. Many of them live in the same "man camps" that any illegal aliens live in, and are just as transient as the illegals as well, whose only address of any kind is going to be a PO box. I highly suspect this will negatively affect far more American natives than illegal aliens.

Heidi Heitkamp may have just gotten a bit of a boost.
