Well, I don't know who you are accusing of lying, but it aint me, and if we are going with familial terms, the motherly one I'm thinking of for you wold get me in trouble here so I'll skip it.
I believe it because of people like Bill Clinton and Menendez. Simple accusations seem to railroad and destroy some people while accusations and in some cases actual proof leave them untouched and looked up to.
