The demise of one party, either party, as we know it does not mean there will only be one party. It means we could have 3 or 4 or more. Some countries have 6 or 7.

Many people ( some former politicians, conservative writers and leaders etc ) have openly denounced and left the Republican Party. Or as some say, the R Party has left them. What we are currently seeing in the Republican Party, in my opinion, feels and seems more pronounced and unlike the usual rhetoric previously bantered about through the decades, as to the demise of one or the other.

I think the GOP is in trouble not the Democratic Party.

Neither party is doomed or close to it.

They have both survived for as long as they have by being adaptable to changing times and evolving political thought, and neither have any diminishment in their adaptability.

What we are all witnessing are changes. There are periods when change comes in a flood, and other periods when change is only a weak dribble. The flood times are upon us now, and we are in the midst of another great period of change.

Once the changes happen, there will be a period of adjustment, which will be followed by a period of placidity. That's the way it has always happened in the United States, and it is very common that a turn of a century initiates a period of change.

The change just doesn't follow the calendar when it begins. It comes most often 10 years or more into a new century. The adjustment to change can be a short time or a long time afterward.

Prove your original point or just admit you were wrong and that just don't personally like the guy .
What shred of evidence does Avenatti have. Making baseless claims and refusing to back them up counts as lying to me.

See this is what propaganda is, fox tripled their ratings while MSNBC only doubled theirs.

And yet MSNBC gets the headlines: https://www.google.com/amp/www.vultu...s-ratings.html

Please be honest, are democrats embarrassed at their own party? Because this is disgusting, and you know they don’t give a **** as they were the same people who defend the rapist Clinton and turned Libya into a sex slave market.

It looks bad for them: More Than 5 Million People Watched The Kavanaugh Hearing On Fox News - The Daily Caller

Define what you mean when you say you are "far left" because you sound much more like you are far RIGHT to me.

The democratic party is no more doomed than the republican party is. Strawman arguments are not going to make the democrats go away, however much you may wish them to. You would have better luck wishing on a star, and you would appear much less foolish doing so.

I think it would be terrific if Americans of ALL political persuasions would finally start turning out to vote in greater numbers. Voter turnout in this country is pathetic. Americans are great at complaining about their government while at the same time refusing to go anywhere near the polls. Can't have it both ways.

Not trying to get into an argument over technical terms but aren't you by definition lying if you don't have proof he is lying ???????

Like I said, your best out is to simply say you don't personally like him because at this point you have created a narrative where Democrats have pushed for him being the public face of this movement which is laughable .

He’s a know liar.

He hasn’t come out with his accusers and is just blowing hot air. It’s obvious he is lying.

What we are witnessing, IMO, is the slow motion downfall of communist contaminated main stream legacy. This will play out over time, but the communists the leftists sucked up to in the 20th century are gone, and the mess they LEFT behind is failing! Losing elections by the bushel; the coming mid term elections will continue to vote out even more after this latest disgrace from the leftist resistance.

The cold war had Russia spending tons of money to infiltrate our media, edu, and governance all throughout the 20th century, and it is FINALLY crashing down as it did in Russia in 1993.

You leftists don't want to acknowledge these truths, but cannot deny the facts.

the hate and fear mongering hijacked democrat party has created an unethical and repulsive organization no one can tolerate, much less be part of.

Pelosi's statement that 'we have to pass it to find out what is in it' was the birth announcement that heralded in the coming of socialism and belief the American people were incapable of holding any responsibility for themselves.

The lie of furgeson is the moment that declared the dem party to be finished.

The dems dug their grave as a political party during the kavanaugh hearing.

We need two “healthy” parties for checks and balances. I don’t feel the democrat party is healthy anymore.
I used to be a democrat, now independent who leans conservative.

My husband and I were just talking tonight about how disgusting the vulgar comments and attacks Bill Maher said regarding Lindsey Graham’s sex life after his hearing speech that were all over the internet. My husband said, “that’s because politics has gotten so vile,”
And I said, “no, sadly, it’s the democrats that have become so vile and violent and corrupt, not the republicans.” Republicans just don’t do that kind of behavior.

Trump’s behavior and personality often deeply disturbs me, but he is not really a republican nor a politician. The Rs just aren’t anarchists, and bullies like the Ds are. The Rs respect law and order and civility - unlike the Ds.
In fact , if nothing else the Rs need to get a backbone and learn to stand up to the Ds
and punch back when assaulted. That’s why I cheered Lindsey at the hearing, and was relieved to see an R finally
stand up to the dishonorable dem behavior.

When Maxine Waters encouraged democrats to harass, bully, and protest any republican at restaurants, at their offices, at their homes — not one democrat leader denounced her for that. And thus weekly we are seeing various republicans chased out of restaurants, yelled at in elevators, hats ripped off, faces spit on. It’s a sad travesty the Dems have sunk so low.
