One of the very few on the hill that can. I hope she will be an inspiration to all aspiring politicians - keep your conscience the priority its supposed to be.

Then, the unthinkable, Trump wins and here we are two years later and two new conservatives are on the Court. One to replace Scalia might have been tolerable. But a second, whether Kavanaugh or anyone else, disaster. Plus the prospect of others.

So yes, I can put myself in their place and understand their sadness, anger, desperation, going off the deep end. This is like Trump winning the election all over again.

Nothing will top Trump winning the presidency but this comes in second.

A HUGE disappointment for the left.

You don't know a protester until they are inside. Most protesters enter quietly.

Well, we're going to have a "Dancing Queen" sitting on the Supreme Court. I may put on my "Boogie Shoes" and "sing and dance" too!

Oh, quit trying to justify your support for another corporate toady/misogynist with your silly comparisons to totalitarian states.

There's no need to.

Pubs and their minority rule are winning. For now.

That won't hold true for much longer.

Enjoy it while it lasts.

Oh that's cute. I see the whole electoral vote thing still has your knickers in a twist.

Both the left and the right are on notice - people in the middle are rising up and voting on issues, not on party loyalty. Just so happens this issue - presumption of innocence until irrefutable evidence proves otherwise - is coming down in favor of the right. And this was a big one; the left you so blindly support will take a big hit for this.
