If BK's alleged drinking habits are so important, wouldn't Fords alleged promiscuity be as well ? I really can't provide any links to this because much of Fords history just doesn't seem to appear on the web. Was it scrubbed prior to all this ? Surely someone as prestigious as Ford would have some sort of online presence from past lectures, op-ed's, feed back from students, etc. Not a lot is out there other than current info.
Another interesting thing , if BK had much of his past scrubbed from the web, the leftists would scream he has something to hide....what is their excuse for her ?

I read the memo and would hate to think that any charges could be brought on anyone in similar circumstances.
I'm like a lot of people. I think something happened to Christy Ford but it probably did not involve Brett Kavanaugh.
I also think something happened to Dr. Ford, and I do believe it involved Judge Kavanaugh. Unfortunately, it's just been too long for it to be a prosecutable case, but that's not the point. The Democrats are right that this is not a criminal case; it's a job interview. Senate now has to decide what to do with the information she provided in her testimony.
He is being accused publicly. You know how the public takes news and runs with it. He has to defend himself against his accuser AND public opinion. As one senator sadly put it, this will hang over his head for the rest of his life even if he is confirmed and that's not fair. Ever.
If I had a dollar for every person I've heard accuse him of being a rapist, I could go on a pretty nice vacation.
And now I'm hearing people actually call Dr. Ford a "rape survivor" or "rape victim." Well, maybe she was raped at some point in her life, who knows, but even she isn't accusing BK of that.
But never let facts stand in the way of emotional rhetoric.

The FBI already did multiple background checks doing just that and found nothing. That's a normal part of the process. Where have you been? Did you know that this is for a Supreme Court nomination?
Hardly an impartial report. That prosecutor was hired by the Republicans on the committee specifically to poke holes in her story.
And prior to the hearing, all I was hearing from all sides was (on the left) "Well, they got a woman sex crimes prosecutor - not bad," and (from the right) "Oh my gosh, what are they thinking hiring a sex crimes prosecutor?"
If she'd produced the report the left wanted, she'd be a hero today.
