I also remember the story involving a note from a Pastor on an Applebee's receipt, statig "I give God 10%. Why do you get 18?". I seem to recall a lot of media and social media coverage.

If it were me I would have just put the thing in the bin.
However you have to have very little in the way of brains to upset those that are dealng with your food, just in case they have a look at the CCTV or you go there again and they recognise you, as people can do all kinds of disgusting things to your food.
Racism is accepting that no one should be able to have the means without someone providing to them. Accepting that your ancestors were slaves and were fed whatever they got for food, which explains why Americans have an obesity epidemic because they'd rather McDonald's feed them instead being the farmer. Even having a farmer feed you is better than McDonald's, you can tell yourself it's all farm sourced all you want but not from human beings. Anyways everything is racist unless some big corporation and a cute logo does it for you.
There are jerks everywhere. Some won't even serve some people based on their political support or who they marry. If it's true they'll be publically punished in no time. No worries.

I am going with the people who say "While this might be real in this case, a number of similar incidents that have been proven to be false has me questioning this story."
Who the hell does that? I tend to be skeptical of these sorts of stories because I don't understand who would do such a thing.
There are people out there that would do something like this, but I think the last couple of these claims have turned out to be hoaxes. Skepticism is obviously prudent in this case.
