The manager should pull up the video from this transaction and see what really happened. If they see someone scribbling the note, ban them from the restaurant. If the waitress is caught lying, fire her.
Sadly, there are certain races and age groups who do not tip or leave crap tips for servers. The hostess as the restaurant I worked at in college used to spread them around so no single server got stuck with bad tippers.
i dont get the outrage. they are just words written on a piece of paper. it might be real it might be a hoax but either way its not worth getting triggered over. yes there are racist ignorant people out there - so what. she lost a tip.
