You should be very embarrassed by this post. Yes, it's that obtuse.

I don't give a crap about how supposedly bad Columbus was. He was a man of his time and no one else today was in his shoes and circumstance. He was celebrated for his discovery. So tearing down American tradition and stealing the country away today makes Democrats better than Columbus was lol?

True, but schools are too agenda-driven today to teach about exploration.

As far as the city of Columbus goes, their employees might not be getting the day off--but employees of the much larger employer, Franklin County, are--in observance of Columbus Day.

Columbus is a good city, the best in the Midwest.

Is that the guy that brought superior European socialism to America to replace inferior free market materialism?

Hysterical.
Please, not this again.

Just make sure veterans get what they were promised when they joined. Benefits don’t need to be expanded. All they have to do is honor the promises made when veterans raised their right hands. No one joined the military to get rich, but they did join anticipating that retirement, healthcare, and benefits would not be changed after they gave their blood, toil, tears, and sweat. Don’t let Congress make veterans sacrifice twice.

Don’t thank a veteran. Stand by a veteran. That’s a lot harder, but a lot more worthwhile.

They do a job, and they need to be compensated. The word "honor" is an empty word.

as for Columbus day, It is awesome.

True but that's just because the diversity hasn't taken over the county and state yet. They want to take over federally and eliminate"white" holidays all together like the racist that they are.

The natives would've killed and mutilated Columbus and his men unless he kept harsh control. Even his own men were likely under strict control.
